Did you try restarting your PC and uninstalling and re-installing it again?

Did you try whitelisting Salad in Windows Defender?
This is likely a problem with your ISP blocking Salad. The recommended solution for this is to use CloudFlare’s DNS which you can find more information about here (There are other DNS’s that work, and a VPN will work as well if you prefer that): https://22.214.171.124/
